Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026 ยท Last updated: September 17, 2026
This policy explains how ViralPulse, the video discovery website at breakingviralnews.com ("we", "us"), handles information when you browse the site, use available account features, or contact us.
Information we process
- Website requests: our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and errors to deliver and protect the website.
- Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand page visits, referrals, device/browser characteristics and interactions such as video playback, likes, filters, sharing and partner-link clicks. Analytics can use cookies and online identifiers.
- Browser preferences: local storage remembers liked clips, recently played clips, category choices, autoplay preferences and motion settings. Session storage supports referral attribution and dismissed interface elements. A like or playback action can also generate a separate analytics event.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include.
Google sign-in, when available
If you choose an available Google sign-in option, we receive the basic identity information you authorize, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, email verification status and profile picture. We use this information to create or identify your account, authenticate you and support account-related requests. Google handles your Google password; you should never send it to us. Authentication may use cookies and store session and provider credentials needed to maintain access.
Basic sign-in does not give us access to your Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or calendar. Google account data is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or shared with entertainment partners for marketing. Any use or transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. This section applies only when you actually use Google sign-in; browsing alone does not connect your Google account.
Why we use information
We use information to deliver videos and pages, remember your choices, operate sign-in where offered, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, measure site performance and respond to requests. Partner links include referral parameters, which can identify the source page, campaign and a click identifier so the destination can attribute a visit.
Providers and external websites
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. Google provides analytics and, when used, authentication. These providers process information needed for those services. Media requests may also reach the media host shown by your browser. Opening a creator source or partner link takes you to a separate service, such as TikTok or Go Go Gold, whose own terms and privacy policy apply. A link does not give that service access to your Google account through us.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or protection of rights. Providers may process data in countries other than your own. See Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy for their practices.
Retention and security
Browser preferences remain until cleared, replaced or expired by the site; the feed currently ignores its recently played record after 30 days without an update. Analytics and infrastructure logs follow the configured retention of the relevant service. Account and support information is kept while needed to provide the service, resolve requests, protect security or meet applicable obligations, then deleted or de-identified. We use HTTPS and restrict access to service credentials, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser to reset local preferences. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect features. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you connected Google sign-in, you can revoke access in your Google account connections; revoking access does not by itself delete information already held by the site.
For access, correction or deletion of information we hold, or to request account deletion, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". Include the account email, if relevant, and describe your request. We may ask for proportionate identity verification; never send a password. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Clearing browser storage and deleting a site account do not delete data controlled independently by external services.
Children and updates
The site is not directed to children under 13. Partner entertainment is for adults 18+ or the higher age required locally. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. We will publish policy changes here and update the date above.
